ABSTRACTIONS
Hans Rudolf Weber (born in Chur 1935) works in the medium of painting, sculpture and light installation. Originally trained as a lawyer, he has been exploring since 1982 the area between the figurative and the abstract. In his latest works he has been questioning the construction of reality in the context of a mediatised world’s ubiquitous production of images.
"Painting is for me an act of creation, creativity and assertiveness. I am guided by adventure, occurrences and experience and try to trace nature's impulses. Looking for effective, harmonic and aesthetic creations, I do often experiment with new materials and techniques without falling into habits."

Public exhibitions since 1989 in Zollikon, Fällanden, Zürich, Weinfelden, Nottwil, Hochfelden, Meilen; Berlin, Paris. Open houses since 1997.
